Boy Uniform Policy 

The purpose of our dress code is to focus on character development, modesty and self-discipline. Our desire is that students will reflect the Lord Jesus in all aspects of their lives. Legacy Christian Academy maintains an exclusive contract with Uniforms Plus, and all uniform items must be purchased there. All uniforms are to be clean, unstained and in good repair without holes.

Regular Daily Uniform:

Polo Shirt:       

White or navy; LCA logo will be embroidered on all polo shirts

White shirts may only be worn with navy pants

Navy shirts may only be worn with khaki pants

Oxford Shirt: 

Long or short sleeved button up shirt; worn with navy pants only

Pants:                 

Navy or khaki, Must be well fitted; not loose, baggy, tight or too short.

Belt:                   

Plain, solid black or navy (excluding the buckle) must be worn with pants

Tie:                     

Boys navy, striped or bow tie is required for chapel day 

Sweater:           

Navy or gray; pullover, cardigan or navy sweater vest

Jacket:               

LCA letterman jackets in high school.

Fleece jackets, wind breakers, and hoodies not worn in classroom.

Socks:               

Navy, white, gray or black; long or crew socks; No ankle or no-show socks

Shoes:              

Solid black canvas, dress or athletic shoes, including soles                             

Open-toed or slipper shoes are not allowed.

Hair:                 

Neat, clean and groomed; no more than 3 inches off the scalp                              

Cut around the ears and not touching collar or covering the eyes                              

Disruptive/bizarre haircuts or hairstyles are not allowed.                             

Buzz cuts should not be less than a 1 guard and must be blended.                             

Boys may not have long hair, braids, ponytails, dreadlocks or hair items.                             

Boys may not color hair; highlighting and bleaching are not allowed.

If you are not 100% certain that the hair color/hairstyle your student would like is within LCA student guidelines,  please contact the office.

Facial Hair:   

Clean shaven; sideburns must be trimmed and not extend past ear lobe

Necklace:       

One necklace may be worn; necklace may have one appropriate charm

Earrings:         

Earrings or body piercings are not allowed

Bracelet:         

One wrist band may be worn

Watch:             

One watch may be worn

Rings:               

One ring may be worn on each hand

Grooming:     

Fingernail painting or coloring is not allowed.                              

Permanent or temporary tattoos are not allowed.                             

Writing or drawing on skin is not allowed.                             

Makeup is not allowed.

Required Chapel Uniform: 

Oxford white shirt, navy pants only, belt, tie

P.E. uniforms:  

Must be purchased from LCA; worn for P.E. class

Casual Uniform:  

LCA shirt, full-length jeans (no holes) and tennis shoes
